Antioch, Aug. 8. Twelve hundred men, partly of this place, and partly of a neighbouring village, called Karaties, have formed an insurrection against the Waivode commanding here, who having called in the aid of Abdurahman, Pacha of Beyrout, he with 400 men soon dispersed the mutineers; upwards of 100 of the latter were killed, 11 heads were sent to Aleppo: Two of the principal ringleaders were impaled, one of whom declared, that Bakir, Pacha of the Khan Karmont, was the instigator of the revolt.
