Full Text

"The French will not be conquered (says a very late letter from London)—they may lose Conde and Valenciennes, but their enemies must soon afterwards feel their inferiority, and, I think, receive terms from those they have so much attempted to injure, and affected to despise. I think this country has received a fatal injury to their commerce and manufactures, and I am afraid they will use more than the safety of their neighbours require. I hope America will not hesitate to comply with every article of the treaty with France."
