Robert Griswold flew in the new Stearman, 300 hp, black and cream biwing plane from Minneapolis this week. The plane will be flown to Great Falls for installation of the spray equipment, then returned to Harlem, all set for a busy season's use in spraying weeds, mosquitoes and grasshoppers. The plane, owned by The Harlem Seed Co. will be donated for use in spraying mosquitoes, pilot Griswold also donating his time for this purpose. Harlem Lions and the Community Chest are to supply the gas, oil and DDT spray. It looks like a rough year ahead for the mosquitoes.
