Dear Cousins: I just wonder if there is room for one more letter on the friendship page. I have been reading the letters from the girls for a good long while, and have not noticed one from Sevier county. I live in Sevier on a 600-acre peach and pecan orchard. We raise lots of truck and fruit here. I dearly love farm life. I love to raise pigs, chickens, calves and garden. I also love to can and do housework. I love to piece quilts. I would be glad if all you girls would send me blocks of unbleached muslin, 12x12, with some little embossed design. I would love to have a spread from all over the dear old state. I will return the favor any way I can.
Well, I will tell you how I look. I have brown hair and eyes and am 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weigh 101 pounds. I hope Mr. W. B. is taking his morning nap when this arrives. If he does not swallow this I will tell you more next time. Who can guess my age? I am not an old, old lady, neither am I a little girl. My birthday is August 9. If I have a twin, be sure and write. Your country cousin.--Nancy Livingston, R. 5, Box 21-A, DeQueen, Ark.
