Fishpole 'Hunter' Bags 10 Pheasants
Litchfield—With a fishpole and a knife fastened to the end of it, a "hunter" did in five minutes what many who tramped over the prairie for days could not accomplish—a full bag of 10 pheasants. Following a successful day's hunting, E. C. Parsons and friends near Litchfield came home with 10 fine birds. In order to keep them cool, they suspended them from the second story window of an apartment house. While the flock hung high, it was not too high for a "hunter" with a fishpole and knife on the end to reach up and cut the rope, and Mr. Parsons and his friends had to start all over again.
