Kansas Election Without Trouble

Russell Springs, Kan., Nov. 9. (UP)--"No, buddy", the under-sheriff said. "There wasn't any trouble all day that I heard of, and it looks like we won, too. The county seat stays right here in Russell Springs."

The unofficial vote of Logan county's election yesterday was: for moving the county seat to Oakley, 1087; against, 1088. The Oakley side needed a 55 per cent majority to win, such being the law, so the Russell Springs crowd seemed to have a safe margin even in recount.
