TURIN, July 2.

His Sardinian Majesty had a Day or two ago a very narrow Escape. He was going from his Drawing Room to his Cabinet alone, when fortunately turning his Head he saw a Soldier of the Regiment of Murienne, following him, as fast as he was able with a Sword drawn in his Hand. The King had just Time to enter the Cabinet and Shut the Door. The Fellow was presently secured, and it appears that he had been some Time mad. It is impossible to express what Joy the Inhabitants of this City have shewn upon so happy a Deliverance.
