Event Details
Letters from Vienna advise growing hopes that preliminaries for peace between the Austrian court and the King of Prussia will be settled by the beginning of April. Daily couriers from Breslau report that the King of Prussia has gained the consent of the Court of London to pursue a separate peace. Despite this, vigorous preparations are underway to open the campaign early in spring should the King of Prussia not agree to reasonable terms through negotiation.
