Two vessels from Cayenne had been taken by them, as we learnt by the master of the vessel, who brought the account of the fate of the American ship. The marine plunderers have been considerably reinforced in the Mediterranean; the San Battista, Cambiosa, richly laden on account of the republic of Genoa, fell a sacrifice to them.
