Jess Bryan's House Burns.

The farm house on Jess Bryan's farm, six miles north of this place, occupied by himself and family, burned Tuesday about 1 o'clock p. m. together with almost the entire contents. Mr. Bryan himself was away from home at the time and the high wind which prevailed at the time rendered it doubtful if anything could have been done, as in an incredibly short time after the discovery of the fire the entire house was enveloped in flames. The house was a large story and a half frame which to rebuild would now probably cost $1,500. We understand he carried insurance on house and contents, but for what amount we have been unable to learn. Most of the contents were saved.—Lineville Tribune.
