It is reported that the Insurgents in the Turkish province of Servia, have applied to the Austrian government for its protection, and it is added, that the Austrian Cordon of that frontier has been reinforced. This state of things, and the contingencies are strong temptations to encroachment, but the Austrian government has hitherto taken no step which can give umbrage to the Turk. According to the latest accounts, Czern George, the Chief of the insurgent Servians in the East, promises fair to rival the great men of the West in the list of revolutionary Emperors.
