Monday Night last some Villains broke into a Store of Mr. William Whitwell, and carried off about a Barrel of Sugar : Notwithstanding there was a full Hogshead stood open in the Store and several Barrels. yet the Fellows took the Pains to cut off the Hoops of a Hogshead that lay on the Bilge, to get out the Sugar : They made so much Noise that the People in the Neighbourhood got up,and seeing 4 Men at work openly, having a large Sled at the Door, imagined they were employed in some Business by the Owner.
