CABINET CHANGES.

From what we can learn we think it nearly certain that Mr. Webster will not return to Washington. A friend, on whose information we can rely, writes us from Boston, under date of the 15th inst:-

"Mr. Webster will resign, and will support Henry Clay and John Davis, as will all the good Whigs of Massachusetts."

In addition to this the Daily American of the same date says:-

"Mr. Webster yields a cordial support to Henry Clay and John Davis."

The New York Commercial, also says, that Mr. Webster will resign. We suppose, therefore, that this matter is settled. Louis McLane is spoken of as his successor, and Caleb Cushing as the successor of Mr. Forward.

A few days will inform us of the correctness of these rumors—Cin. Gaz.
