WOMEN FIGHT FIRE
They Prove Valiant Members of the Bantry Department.

Bantry, N. D., Oct. 25.—Women of Bantry are loyal members of the town's fire fighting bucket brigade, and showed themselves capable when the E. R. Scarbrough livery barn was destroyed with a loss of about $7,000.

While their husbands were doing valiant work handling the water at the scene of the fire, the women formed a chain that handled the water from the source of supply to the building. It was the women who handled the pump also, and their work was largely responsible for the prevention of the spread of the fire.
