PHILADELPHIA, March 15:

Last Week two Men were taken up, and committed to the Gaol of this City, on Suspicion of robbing Mr. Clifford's House of a Quantity of Plate, and other Things, as advertised in this Paper; and upon their Examination such Discoveries were made, that about a third Part of the Plate, chiefly small, was found in one of their Chests. It is thought there are some others concerned with them, though not discovered. And it is also supposed that the same Persons lately robbed the House of Mrs. McCall, in Walnut Street, of sundry pieces of Plate, which have since been recovered. The Persons in Custody are said to be a Doctor and Cabinet Maker: the first we hear, goes by the Name of William Frederick Ousenred, alias Hendenreed; the last by that of John Brinklow, alias Benson, both Convicts from England in Virginia.
