WALTER KUBON IS
IN FAIRBANKS

His first visit home in 5 years
brought Walter Kubon into Fairbanks
recently aboard a Pacific Alaska
Airways Electra, three days by air
away from Cleveland, Ohio.

Cleveland is the headquarters of
the Austin Company, designers of
Ladd Field's architectural plans,
with whom Kubon is affiliated. He
is son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kubon
of Fairbanks and brother of Fred
Kubon, former mayor of Nome.

His brother is now in Baker,
Oregon, engaged in a mining venture
with Bill Burns, formerly of
Fairbanks.

The Cleveland visitor will remain
in Fairbanks for about 2 weeks with
his parents.
