Activities Today
The Morris Brown College Homecoming festivities will be climaxed with an Alumni Worship Service Sunday morning at 11 a. m., in the college chapel, with Mrs. E. T. Lewis, an outstanding social worker in the city of Atlanta, as the main speaker.
The master of ceremonies will be the distinguished national president of the Morris Brown Alumni Association, Dr. George L. Hightower. Also appearing on the program will be Dr. R. C. Cornell, dentist of this city. The Morris Brown College Choir under the direction of G. Johnson Hubert will furnish special music for the occasion.
This service has been regarded as a close to the dramatic Homecoming activities. Since its inception this feature of the program has enjoyed tremendous growth in popularity, and it is expected to attract a large number of alumni and friends of the college this year. The committee on planning the services consists of Rev. J. R. Coan, college minister Dr. E. C. Mitchell, director of alumni relations, and Dr. George L. Hightower, national alumni president.
