BE APRIL 27 TO MAY 3
Forest Protection Week, heretofore annually set aside by the president of the United States, will be designated hereafter as American Forest Week according to advices received from Washington by Dr. Raphael Zon of University Farm, chief of the Lake States Forest Experiment Station.
The dates this year are April 27 to May 3. The program will be directed by a national citizen's committee instead of solely by the United States Forest Service. Frank O. Lowden, former governor of Illinois, is the permanent chairman of the directing committee.
