House Devotes Day to Eulogy
House of Representatives met yesterday to hear eulogies on the life of Charles Tappan Dunwell, who represented the third congressional district of New York in the fifty-eighth, fifty-ninth and sixtieth Congress and who died last June. Representative William M. Calder of Brooklyn, N. Y., where Mr. Dunwell resided, occupied the Speaker's chair and also eulogized his former colleague. Others who spoke were Representatives Foelker, who succeeded Mr. Dunwell, Parsons, Bennett, Law and Driscoll, New York; Tirrell, Massachusetts; Bongeinge, Colorado; and Kuhn, California.
