WASHINGTON. May 15. (UP)
FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover said today that 552 men were arrested yesterday in the largest nationwide one-day roundup of Selective Service delinquents.
Hoover said that the arrests resulted from investigations to locate delinquent individuals who had failed to report for physical examinations and induction, failed to return questionnaires or to notify draft boards of address changes, or had violated sections of the Selective Service act.
