Full Text
Scandal.
One of our business men was married a few weeks since to a young lady of the vicinity. In just one week after the wedding she was missing and the absence of a gentleman acquaintance of hers about the same time, satisfied the wronged husband that he had been victimized. The rumor is that a little purse of money went away with the newly married lady. The husband has been gone several days in pursuit and until we hear from him and have his authority to do so we shall forbear the publication of names.
