Penney Company Employee
Given Deserved Promotion

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Savage and
little son are leaving today for Conrad,
where Mr. Savage will be employed
as assistant manager of the
J. C. Penney Co. store. The Conrad
store is a larger store than the one
at Libby and the move is a promotion
for Mr. Savage.

Mr. Savage has been in Libby with
the Penney company for the past
two or three years and has made
many friends while here. Both he
and Mrs. Savage will carry with
them to Conrad the good wishes of
a wide circle of friends in Libby.

Mr. Savage's place here will be
taken by Roy Pederson of Kalispell.
Mr. and Mrs. Pederson are expected
to arrive here the last of this
week.
