Capt. Murray Hurt By Rolling Pin at Safety Body Picnic
Capt. A. J. Murray, head of the police department traffic bureau, was injured at the Milwaukee safety commission picnic yesterday on the estate of William E. Haefner, a member, on Moose lake.
He attempted to catch a rolling pin thrown in his direction by a deputy sheriff engaged in a rolling pin tossing contest. but the missile slipped through his hands.
The injury was not serious.
About 150 attended the picnic, the high lights of which were games and eats.
