DECLARES PAID SCALE FEE TWICE

Jack Wolfe, who has a grocery store on Walnut street, came into the office of the Nogales International yesterday afternoon and stated that his store yesterday paid 50 cents for inspection of scales that should not have been paid.

"Former Chief of Police J. J. Lowe in May inspected the scales and we paid the 50 cent fee. That fee was supposed to be good for one year. Wolfe said.

"Yesterday, Mark W. Wanless, sealer of weights and measures, came around and while I was out he had my wife pay another 50 cents. I have a receipt showing it had already been paid in May."

"I call that petty larceny graft," said Mr. Wolfe as he left the International office to look for Chief of Police Mark Tully and try to get a refund.
