LIES, IMPUDENCE and SEDITION.
From the AURORA.

John Adams hath said that we are not a divided people He hath almost said that we should declare war against France, because Barras, in the gentlest terms, alluded to the possibility of our domestic division.— In their several answers to his presidential maiden speech, a majority of the two houses of Congress echoed both ends of this affirmation of Mr. Adams. They cast the gauntlet of falsehood in the face of truth. The future historian of America must make an excellent moral, if he relies on the veracity of executive speeches, and legislative answers.

The most obvious of all political truths is that the citizens of the United States are a divided people. Discord and faction are engraved on the front of almost every public measure.
