THIS ONE DIDN'T QUITE GET AWAY
E. C. Jarrett, 10 Tenth street, was a very busy man yesterday. Most of his time was taken up with showing the 50-pound red drum he had caught the day before 12 miles off Wrightsville Beach.
While engaged in feeding the fishes great chunks of beefsteak, Jarrett found himself tangling with the drum. He took it in after a quarter-hour fight.
Also, Jarrett landed a couple of other small fish, some channel bass. They only weighed around 30 pounds, or something like that.
All in a day's work, Mr. Jarrett, all in a day's work.
