Community Center Notes
The Junior Boys Boxing Club of the Central Community Center gave a splendid show Friday Jan. 25. The boys were evenly matched and put up some very good fights. The results were as follows:
Fletcher Lomas defeated Cassell Richmond, 3rd; Johnny Mitchell defeated Marcus Howell, 3rd; Willie Anderson defeated James Berry, 3rd; Willie Walker defeated Harry Wallace, 3rd; John Eaton defeated Eddie Prince, 3rd; Sammy Dunlap drew with Herb Harris, 3rd; Matthew Lee defeated "Kid" Blue, 3rd; Dove Hamilton defeated Henry Jackson, 3rd; Charles Parham defeated Ben Tipton, 3rd; Willie Hodges defeated Nathaniel Felix, 3rd; Frankie Easter defeated "Kid" Armour, 3rd; James Palmer defeated Willie Long, 3rd; Ralph Pringle defeated Bob Jackson; James Dunlap drew with Thomas Glaspy, 3rd; Bobby Lewis defeated Battling Emmett Grier, 3rd.
