A letter of a late date, from London, says, 'As to politics, the Ministers of this country, (Great-Britain) appear to be much embarrassed, and a change is talked of.-- A storm is gathering on the devoted Hollanders; but their fall will most probably be proceeded by a general war, in which all the northern powers, most probably, will be engaged. The Emperor has on foot an army of full 350 thousand men, well equipped and disciplined, and ready to take the field at a day's notice; Prussia about 250 thousand, Russia 300 thousand; and France 200 thousand men, without counting the lesser powers in their neighbourhood.--All these, it seems, are not to be clothed, fed and paid for nothing; so as to keep more than one million of hearty fellows out of idleness, their high, mighty and humane masters are going to find them employ, in cutting each other's throats.'
