Playground Athletes Are Given Honors

Free hot dogs, pop and a Redbird baseball game was the reward given to the Junior Olympic track and swimming participants Little League players, softball players, place winners in the foul shooting, horseshoe and tennis city playground tournament. Knothole players and other outstanding individuals of the Sunshine Recreation playground honoring their contributions.

The big day was Friday, Aug. 29, at 8:15 p. m., the closing night of the summer program at Sunshine Recreation Center.

A big time was enjoyed by all.
