We are told, that a Dutchman living between Philadelphia and Bristol, a few Days ago inhumanly butcher'd his Wife to Death: and that after he had committed the horrid Crime, he went up into the Garret, and there hung himself with a small Cord.

The Coroner's Jury having sat on the Woman, brought in the Verdict Wilful Murder in the Husband, who it was thought had absconded: But on searching the House in order to take an Inventory (as the Family consisted only of himself and his Wife) they found him swinging in the Loft.
