MANILA, Nov. 29 (AP)—Three Japanese were arrested and a hundred other Japanese may be incarcerated as the result of a fight with Filipino authorities ten days ago on Coron Island, in which two Japanese were killed.
Officials said that Captain Alfred Fawcett, provincial inspector reported that three Japanese were charged with the illegal possession of explosives and resisting of officers. He said thirty five other Japanese would be accused of assaulting Filipino officers, and that a hundred Japs may be arrested in connection with the case in which Japanese fishermen, resident of Coron, assertedly mobbed the Filipino authorities who were collecting taxes.
