Residents of Arkansas for only two days, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Brannon returned to their former home at Creighton, Neb., this morning with saddened hearts, taking with them in a coffin the body of their little daughter, Eunice. The family arrived here Thursday, and Saturday, while the child was eating peanuts, one of the husks became caught in her throat and she choked to death.
The family came here only Thursday to take up their residence on a farm which Mr. Brannon had purchased near Rison. The little girl was a bright, happy child, and was the pride of the family, and they are almost broken in spirit by the tragedy which has overtaken them. The interment will take place at Creighton, where they had lived for many years, and it is doubtful if they ever return to Arkansas.
