STANDARD OIL MAN
R. T. Hammet, of Charlotte, public relations representative for the Standard Oil company, was guest speaker at the Rotary luncheon Tuesday. He made an exceptionally interesting and instructive talk on the subject, "Industrial Engineering with Human Lives." The program was in charge of Randolph Zimtbaum, who introduced the speaker.
The president, T. F. Corriher, presided.
Visitors were Dr. Rush E. Netterville, Dr. R. L. McCarty, W. H. Benfield, Robert H. Lineberger, Walter Lineberger, Lee F. Cline, Boyce Blanton, and Clifford Rhyne, of Lincolnton; Bob Doggett, Pasadena, Calif.; Jean Schenck, Shelby; Charlie Bryant, Gastonia.
John Ramseur, Jr., was introduced as Junior Rotarian from the High school.
