He gave police a description of his assailant. Floyd Cushbert, of 1020 McDaniel street, stabbed in the right shoulder two times by Melvin Brown, was treated at the clinic and permitted to go home. Brown, Cushbert told police, lives at 1129A McDaniel street. The fight occurred at Arthur and Windsor streets, Brown escaped before police arrived. Others treated for knife wounds in the clinic Saturday night included: Miss Bessie Broughton, 19, 450 Magnolia street; stab wounds of back. Miss Margaret Edwards, 26, 77 Gilmer street; laceration of thigh. James Stinson, 18, 974 Ivy street: laceration of back, face and left eye. Charles Johnson, 46, 4845 Walker street. laceration of left hand. Clarence Reed, 29, 134 Fort St., laceration of left temporal region. George Patrick. 28. 537 Robinson street. Laceration of left side of head and left eye. Willie MeCoy. 27. 34 Martin St. laceration of left shoulder and arm. Ray Hinton, 26. 16 Whitehill St. laceration of back and left eye.
