The Express which arrived on Tuesday Night, announcing the taking of Silistria by the Russians, brought the following farther Particulars relating to that Affair, viz. That they had taken a great many Prisoners, and found in that Place great Riches; and that there had likewise been several Engagements between the Russians and Turks near Coriiva and Cule, in Wallachia, in every one of which the latter were worsted, and many of them made Prisoners. The Account further says, that the Russians have not only gained Silistria, but have likewise made themselves Masters of all the adjacent Country, the Turks quitting every Post on the Appearance of a Body of Russian Soldiers.
