According to the last Letters from Lima, there is a Spaniard living at Caxamalca, a Town in Peru, who is 140 Years of Age. He has been three Times married, had fifteen Children by his first Wife, four by his second, and nine by his third; besides several natural Children, in the Intervals between each Marriage. He has lived to see his 6th Generation, and can reckon 800 Persons that have sprung from him. He never was sick, nor does not even seem sensible of the Infirmities of old Age, being now able to walk Half a League. The Truth of this is said to be well attested.
