Plans For New Hospital Wing To Be Viewed
Public Invited to Inspect Details for Addition Now Under Construction at Hospital Day Observance, May 12th
Is National Event
The observance of Hospital Day on May 12th, an event which has extended its scope throughout the country during the past few years, will give the people of this section of the county an opportunity to visit the Day Kimball Hospital and view plans for the new addition which is now being constructed there. Announcement concerning arrangements for the event was made by the Board of Trustees following a meeting at the Nurses Home Tuesday night.
It was explained that any one interested in the plans for the wing will be given an opportunity to examine the plans and hear an explanation of the various details of the building program.
Because of the construction which is now going on, the day's program this year will not include an inspection of the hospital itself but visitors will be escorted through the nurses home. The trustees also plan to have samples of furniture and equipment that will be used in the new addition on hand for examination by the public.
