Full Text

Commenting on the recent decision of Judge Meredith, and the possibility that his opinion concerning the Stay Law, may be sustained, the Richmond Examiner says: "There is a moral Stay Law, however, to which we would urge the attention of that class, which might, for the reason that they have been restrained, as they will think, without constitutional sanction, from enforcing their legal claims, now consider that they are warranted in pressing them to the utmost. Humanity should prompt them to a consideration of the unparalleled losses which have been sustained."
