Full Text
We have as yet had no opportunity of examining a full and correct copy of the new Constitution, but from what has come under our observation incline to the opinion that it is an improvement on the present one. There are some changes which we do not like, but there are others which were certainly demanded.
The reorganization of the judiciary is a much needed reform, and this part of the work the Convention have done in a manner that seems to give general satisfaction.
The objections seem to be chiefly urged against provisions of minor importance.
