The Chevalier John Bertucci, Native of the Marquifate of Ancona, and who has been some Time in this City, has composed a new System, by which he pretends to shew that the Earth is an Organick Body, and that every Star is the same: The 18th of this Month he read his System in the Presence of above Fifty Persons, whom Mr. Philip Argelati, the Imperial Secretary, had assembled at his House, and who were as much distinguished by their Birth, as their Knowledge: This System appear'd to them so receivable, that they all immediately adopted it, and Mr. Argelati afterwards gave the Company a most splendid Entertainment. The Chevalier Bertucci is now upon a Work which will soon appear in publick, containing an Explanation of his System.
