Full Text
The draft for the honor system, revised by a committee of representative members of the faculty and student body, will be up for the student body to pass on after the Easter holidays.
Fair notice and plenty of publicity has been given this time.
So it is the duty now of the University men and women to give thought and discussion to this most important matter, and be ready to cast their ballot in an intelligent manner when the hour arrives.
As one of the largest and most enterprising universities in the West, the University of Missouri ought not to be behind in this one thing.
An honor system is an institution which seems to exclude objection. It must be doubtful grounds on which anyone would object to signing a statement to the effect that he or she had not received help on work individually assigned.
Let us show we are abreast of the times and vote favorably for the honor system when we next get the chance.
