Soil Survey

Each member of Congress is allocated a limited number of copies of the Soil Surveys of the several counties of his District. These copies are much in demand, and the Members have some difficulty in supplying them. At the time of the death of the lamented Pat Harrison, he had on hand a number of copies of these surveys. Mrs. Harrison, in winding up Senator Harrison's affairs and closing his office with characteristic Harrison thoughtfulness turned these over to us. These little volumes are very enlightening and helpful to anyone desiring first-hand information on the types of soil of any particular county. Anyone interested in a copy of this valuable little booklet may address us at Washington, specifying the county in which he is interested, and we will be glad to send it postpaid.
