Bernard Aros, Jr., was honored with a party on his 18th birthday by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Aros, Sr., at Coolidge Womans Club on Wednesday evening.
Dancing furnished the evening's entertainment with a special musical program to give variety. Dance music was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Aros, Walter Aros, Tony Lopez, and Ray Hanks.
There were two vocal solos by Gloria Kenworthy; two solo dances by Nadine McCleery; a duet by Velda Abbot and Gloria Kenworthy; two solos by Walter Aros, two solos by Bennie Boone, and a surprise number by Bernard's little sister, Elva, who sang, "Take It Easy."
The party was climaxed by the group singing "Happy Birthday" around the birthday cake, after which refreshments were served.
Mrs. Aros was assisted at the refreshment table by Mrs. C. L. Kenworthy, Mrs. Abbott, and Mr. Aros.
