NEW YORK--(C)--Dr. James Weldon Johnson, professor of creative literature at Fisk University, Nashville, Tenn., and author of "Along This Way" and other books, was a speaker at the second annual New York Times National Book Fair in Radio City on the closing day, Sunday afternoon. Dr. Johnson read from his book of poems, "God's Trombones."
Miss Zora Neale Hurston, author of "Their Eyes Were Watching God," was a speaker before the fair on Monday afternoon, November 15.
