Full Text

Last Saturday night an express inclosed in a large case, and sealed with black, arrived at the East India House, in Leadenhall-street; before the seal was broke open, the melancholy purport was known, as the Directors had a previous account of Lord Pigot's death in the postscript of a letter to a gentleman in their service; however, the express above mentioned contained a very full account of that distressful event. His Lordship, it seems, expired on the morning of the 8th of May, after a lingering illness, of which no art could relieve him. He wrote several letters to his brother, the Admiral, before his death; the contents of which will, in a day or two, be made public.
