Naples, July 20. Several Priests having vehemently preached against the Free Masons, and the inviolable Secrecy of that Fraternity not admitting any explicit Refutation of those Invectives, it has so far brought them under a Suspicion of being really guilty of the heinous Charges against them, that all Lodges of Free Masons and other clandestine Meetings are forbid, under very severe Penalties; and a particular Court is instituted, consisting of Persons of great Distinction, to judge and decide all Offences of that Nature.
