Martin Luther To Lecture At Univ. of Mich.

ANN ARBOR—The fall series of three religion lectures and a sacred concert of all-Bach cantatas have been announced by program director Harold Duerksen of the Office of Religious Affairs at The University of Michigan.

Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., co-pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Atlanta, Ga., and president emeritus of The Montgomery Improvement Association the organization which guided and directed the bus protest in Montgomery, Ala., will give two lectures on Monday, Nov. 5, in Hill Auditorium.

He will speak at 4 p.m. on "Moral Issues in Discrimination" and at 8 p.m. on What Does the American Negro Citizen Want?-The Future of Integration.

These two lectures are co-sponsored by the Michigan Union Special Projects Committee and the Office of Religious Affairs.

The Ann Arbor Cantata Singers, accompanied by Instrumental Ensembles, with Rosella Duerksen, conductor, will give a public concert at 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 in Rackham Lecture Hall.

Preston Roberts, who is associate professor of theology and imaginative literature and chairman of the field of religion and art in the Divinity School at the University of Chicago, is active in the ecumenical movement as a member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
