There are nine seniors in library science at Mississippi State College for Women, who are currently doing practice work at the college library reference desk. A total of 800 answers were searched out last year by library students. Most of them were serious requests for help on a club paper, a class assignment, or from business people who sought specialized information. These nine seniors may not be the girls who know all the answers, but they do know where to find them. Working at the reference desk this semester are Dorothy Graves of Ackerman, Betty Sampson of Greenwood, Ann Harwell of Meridian, Norma Faye Beeman of Newton, Ann McDonall of Tylertown, Marjorie Ratcliff of Laurel, Judy Garreston of Greenville, Bertha Wachsman of Mobile and Alicia Kline of Columbus.
