Sam Elder, county road supervisor, is in Bisbee to meet Territorial Engineer Girand to confer about the proposed territorial highway which is to cross this county.

Girand and Elder left Bisbee this morning for Douglas in an automobile so that they could see the lay of the land between the two cities and discuss the plans for the big road.

As now laid out, the road, which will come from Globe to Willcox, will be extended to Douglas, from where it will be built into Bisbee and on to Tombstone and Benson. From Benson the road will be built to Tucson.

Mr. Elder has recently returned from a trip over all the roads of importance in the county and has laid out a vast amount of improvements and repairs.
