VIRGINIA ELECTION.
The Richmond papers of Wednesday and Thursday have been received.
The Senate will have a Whig majority certainly of two, perhaps four.
House of Delegates.—The Whig has returns from 86 counties, in which the Whig loss is ten members and the Whig gain 6—making a nett loss of 4 members. There was a report of the loss of a Whig member in Tyler—if so the nett loss will be five members.
We gain Montgomery by this mail; but this is balanced by the loss in Accomac, where Gen. Bayly is re-elected and Allworth with him—both Locofocos under false colors. This in the face of 400 Whig majority!
Congress.—There is nothing additional of a definite character. As far as heard from the whigs have gained two members. Two districts are yet to be heard from, but they are both in opposition. The delegation will therefore stand 11 Whigs to 10 in opposition.

VIRGINIA ELECTION.
The Richmond Whig of Saturday, after announcing the election of Whig members to the House of Delegates in the Giles and Mercer, and Cabell Districts, (gains) says:
The Whigs—counting Fayette and Nicholas, Hardy, and Westmoreland, not heard from, but considered indubitable—have elected 66 members of the House of Delegates, 68 a majority of the whole. Rumor alleges the election of Mr. Camden in Harrison, which would tie the House. They feel confident of obtaining 2 more in Wood, Mason and Jackson, Logan, Scott, Pocahontas, Pendleton, Lewis and Braxton. The Legislature is theirs, both Houses. And what is better, there is not a fishy man left in their legislative ranks. Traitors, both moral and practical, have been purged off. May kind Heaven keep them free of men whom they have to watch on every vote.
Senate.—Mr. Tunstall is certainly elected, which gives the Whigs a majority in the Senate. They may also carry the Harrison district. McMullen will be pushed home by Bekem.
